ORANGE · CÔTE D’IVOIRE
ADSL, fibre and hotspot subscriber authentication, email, web hosting: Orange Côte d’Ivoire’s internet services platform, built entirely from open-source components and run day to day by our teams.
THE CONTEXT
Every internet subscriber connection goes through authentication; every message, through the email service. These services must run continuously, absorb subscriber growth and remain under the operator’s control.
Synelia designed and deployed the AVISO platform using open-source components only, then took over its operations: monitoring, maintenance, security, enhancements and server modernisation.
THE CHALLENGES
Access services in continuous use by the operator’s subscribers.
No vendor licences: open, documented, replaceable components.
Monitor, log, back up and evolve without interruption.
OUR RESPONSE
Radius for ADSL, fibre and hotspot, on a replicated database behind load balancers.
Receiving, sending and reading subscribers’ messages.
Websites and portals hosted on the platform.
Centreon: distributed pollers, reporting and service mapping.
Log collection, indexing and search, for fast diagnosis.
Scheduled, verified backups; automated deployments and configurations.
ARCHITECTURE
OPERATIONS
Service availability, cluster health, alerts handled by our teams.
Security updates, patches and capacity management.
Migration of administration servers, pre-production environment for authentication.
Hardening, administrative access control, logging.
Verified backups, failover drills.
New services and scale-up supported.
